자메이카의 '인간 탄환' 우사인 볼트가 지난 8일(현지시간) 기자회견장에서 삼바춤을 선보여 화제다.

편안한 차림으로 등장한 볼트가 기자회견장에서 여성 댄서들과 함께 삼바춤을 췄다고 전했다.

볼트는 삼바춤에 앞서 "이번 올림픽이 마지막"이라고 재차 언급했다. 이는 볼트가 2017년 런던세계선수권대회를 은퇴 무대라 생각하고 있기 때문이다.

현재 볼트는 지난달 초 입은 허벅지 부상으로 인해 컨디션이 불안한 것으로 알려졌다.

Usain Bolt showed off his Samba dancing skills at a news conference as he prepared to go for another three gold medals at the Rio Olympics.

The six-time Olympic gold medallist took to the stage with a team of dancers at a sponsor's event where he looked ahead to next week, when he hopes to defend his 100 and 200 metre titles along with the 4x100 metre relay with the Jamaica team.

Bolt won three gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and again at the 2012 London Games - and he is hoping for another three in Rio.

The Jamaican said his preparation was going well, concentrating on the turn and speed endurance.

He said he was feeling better this season than last, which he described as "a struggle."

He confirmed that lowering the 200 metre world record below 19 seconds was a personal goal before retiring. Bolt agreed that his Olympic career will be over after Rio, but he is looking to keep competing until the London 2017 World Championships next August
